With unflinching swagger, Swan in Lee's film seizes the spotlight with a funky guitar solo for "Everybody's Coming to My House," the lead single from Byrne's 2018 "American Utopia" studio album. ![]() "We're dancing and playing instruments and singing on top of that. I feel like I had to be the most present that I've ever had to be in a show." ![]() "It involves all of your senses," Swan continued. "(Choreographer) Annie B-Parson, she was very sensitive to the fact that we are playing instruments and how to move our bodies as well as being aware of the space that we take up on the stage and aware of the other 11 people on the stage." "American Utopia" has been such a special experience for Swan, she got a tattoo on her right arm inspired by the Talking Heads' "Once in a Lifetime," a "Utopia" highlight. "I am hoping the show will open people's eyes a bit." 'Well, how did I get here?' "There's a huge divide right now," Swan added. "This stuff keeps happening, and until we do something about it, until we do that in our country, it's not going to be any better." l did my star review accidentally hit the 3rd one l wanted 5 if you had 10 l would of hit that one."David's audience was predominantly white, probably middle class, so it's a very important message," Swan said. ![]() ![]() l can tell she is not there just to get you in and out she cares. She goes right down to detail to make sure the client is beyond happy when they leave.
